It was a great honor and joy to participate as the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Serbia, accompanied by Embassy Counsellor Stefano Podavini, in the Consistory celebrated by His Holiness Pope Francis in the magnificent setting of St. Peter’s Basilica.
This year, St. Nicholas arrived a little earlier at the Church and Monastery of St. Anthony of Padua in Belgrade, as most of the priests will be in Rome on December 7th, where Archbishop Mons. Ladislav Nemet will be elevated to the rank of Cardinal by His Holiness Pope Francis
This year, the esteemed magazine Diplomacy & Commerce once again organized a fundraising campaign to support the NORBS Plus Foundation.
On November 27th, within the elegant setting of Palazzo Parigi in Milan, the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta in Serbia, represented by Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso, Councillor Stefano Podavini, and other guests from various parts of Italy, participated in the Charity Dinner organized by the Embassy to the Principality of Monaco.
On the morning of November 6, Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso, accompanied by Dr. Alessandro Grassini, was received by H.E. Ambassador Sima Avramovic at the Embassy’s office in Rome.
Upon learning of the tragic news of the canopy collapse at the Novi Sad railway station, which claimed the lives of fourteen people and left three injured, H.E. Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso sent a message of condolence to H.E. President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić and H.E. Prime Minister Miloš Vučević.
The humanitarian project launched by the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Serbia at Izvor, near Paraćin, is nearing completion.
Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso, accompanied by the Embassy staff, visited Adligat, the Museum of the Book in Belgrade, where he participated in a guided tour led by director Mr. Viktor Lazić.
The delegation from the Embassy of the Order in Serbia, led by Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso, visited the Royal Palace and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar Karađorđević.
