This year, St. Nicholas arrived a little earlier at the Church and Monastery of St. Anthony of Padua in Belgrade, as most of the priests will be in Rome on December 7th, where Archbishop Mons. Ladislav Nemet will be elevated to the rank of Cardinal by His Holiness Pope Francis. For more than a decade, the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta in Serbia is continuing the tradition of bringing sweets to children along with St. Nicholas. As every year, after the Holy Mass, we saw the faces of many children light up with joy.
