The humanitarian project launched by the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Serbia at Izvor, near Paraćin, is nearing completion. The project involves installing solar panels at a facility for girls with mental disabilities, which is run by nuns of the Orthodox Church. Recently, Minister Counsellor Prof. Nenad Prokić signed a contract with the company that will install the photovoltaic system. This initiative has been carried out in partnership with our American and Italian collaborators. Thanks to our U.S. sponsors, the project has been expanded to further improve energy efficiency by adding aluminum shutters and solar-reflective windows.
