Also in Serbia, where the <i>Hospitallers <\/i>of St. John (nowadays the Sovereign Order of Malta) built a hospital and a church in Ba\u010d &#8211; in 1234 \u2013 which was used by pilgrims during their travels to Jerusalem.<br \/>\nThe opportunity to visit the Catholic Church of the Holy Apostle Paul, as well as the historical part of the city of Ba\u010d, was offered to us by the Archbishop of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Belgrade Mons. Stanislav Ho\u010devar and the Bishop of Subotica Mons. Slavko Ve\u010derin.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/orderofmalta.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Immagine-14-07-21-alle-16.31.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7631\" src=\"http:\/\/orderofmalta.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Immagine-14-07-21-alle-16.31-480x349.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a>Above all, this was an opportunity to discuss an ambitious project &#8220;<i>Make a WISH to the Order of Malta<\/i>&#8220;, related to multipurpose sports field construction on the land of the Church, which would be used by disabled children and also by young residents of Ba\u010d.<br \/>\nThe preparatory meeting was attended by the new pastor Don Marinko Stanti\u0107, President of the Croatian National Council (HNV) Ms. Jasna Vojni\u0107, architect Ms. Branka Hegedi\u0161, physical education professor \u010cedomir Vi\u0161i\u0107, HNV Project manager Filip \u010celikovi\u0107 and the Project manager of &#8220;Make a WISH to the Order of Malta&#8221; prof.
