Perhaps even more than joy and gratitude, little Sandra\u2019s and her perents\u2019 eyes revealed the apperent surprise that one WISH, or even better \u2013 one dream would come true.<\/p>\n

A warm welcome for the Ambassadors of the Sovereign Order of Malta (in Belgrade) and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) with the Representative Office in Budapest arranged by the Deputy Mayor of Ni\u0161, Prof. Neboj\u0161a Ran\u0111elovi\u0107<\/p><\/div>\n

At the second week of her life, Sandra got a viral infection which turned into a cruel and rare disease.
\nSince then, the little girl has undergone several operations but the most difficult one has yet to be performed at the clinically appropriate time and not when a public hospital might be available.
\nTherefore, there was a need to contact a private hospital where it would be possible to intervene timely for this complex and expensive operation.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Alberto di Luca, having confidence in sensibility and solidarity of the Government of Taiwan \u2013 with whom we already collaborated in the year 2015 and 2016 when they supported our humanitarian \u201cMake a WISH\u201d Projects \u2013 has asked our Taiwanese friends for help, once again. So, today in Nis, in the presence of the Ambassador Andrew Chang who came expressly from Budapest, they confirmed their decisive support for the delicate operation to be performed.
\nDuring the meeting with Sandra, held at the Sava Surgery Hospital in Nis, her radiant smile was imprinted in the hearts of everybody present. The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade \u2013 with the Ambassador di Luca and Director of the \u201cMake a WISH\u201d<\/p>\n

Project, professor Nenad Prokic \u2013 as well as the delegation of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Ambassador Andrew Chang and his wife Mrs. Rebecca Chang Shen, and two of their associates from the Representative office, Mrs. Anna Ho and Ms. Angela Tung are wishing Sandra all the best.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
