And the first WISH has already been &#8220;delivered&#8221;!"},"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-3996","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"hidden_news":"no","evidence":"no","focus_on":"no","breaking":"no","news_cover":{"id":1155,"url":"https:\/\/serbiaembassy.orderofmalta.int\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/74\/2024\/10\/DSC03572-1-scaled.jpeg"},"news_video":"","sub_title":"","news_content":"<p>Sremcica, April 2016<\/p>\n<p>From March 15th the boys and girls housed in the orphanages and Centers for youth with mental disabilities in Sremcica and Izvor &#8211; in Serbia &#8211; have begun to send, to the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade, their letters with their WISHES, as required by the rules of the project &#8220;Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta 2016&#8221;.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5336\" style=\"width: 330px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5336\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5336\" src=\"http:\/\/orderofmalta.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/DSC03567-1-480x320.jpg\" alt=\"Here some of the hundreds of clothing items, subject of one of the first &quot;Make a WISH&quot; letters sent to the Embassy in Belgrade, and quickly delivered at Sremcica thanks to the generosity of the important Italian Company Original Marines (www.originalmarines.com).\" width=\"320\" height=\"213\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5336\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Here some of the hundreds of clothing items, subject of one of the first &#8220;Make a WISH&#8221; letters sent to the Embassy in Belgrade, and quickly delivered at Sremcica thanks to the generosity of the important Italian Company Original Marines (www.originalmarines.com).<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Embassy has received many letters by the children so far in which they have requested new and better clothing; medical equipment (two mobile electrocardiographs and a glucose meter); a group of children with ambulatory disabilities has requested a mini-bus that enables them to commute (to school as well as to a show or the stadium and not always be forced to stay inside of a building); some have asked for the possible renovations of their bathrooms (currently in very poor conditions!); some letters were from the caretakers of the children in which they ask for new washing machines and dryers in particular to further improve the already good level of hygiene; and many more.<br \/>\nThanks to the sensitivity of the brothers Antonio and Francesco Di Vincenzo, owners of the Italian company &#8211; Original Marines (www.originalmarines.com) &#8211; a first WISH, in record time, has already been delivered to Sremcica.
